Once it’s been 12 months (or 8 months with driving school), you can take your G2 road test. This assessment is the first of two road examinations in Ontario to become a licensed driver. Since the beginning of the pandemic, "there have been approximately 294,400 passenger road tests cancelled due to closures and Grey lockdown restrictions,” according to MTO.
